The Jura S8 Ground Coffee Lid Sensor MK04U-BV15800 is located internally underneath the top cover. Its position is aligned with the magnet located on the Pre-Ground Coffee Lid. The connection of the magnet to the sensor notifies the machine that the Pre-Ground Lid is closed. If the lid is closed and you are receiving a message to close the lid, then the lid or this sensor may need to be replaced.
